AKAI GX-4000D Reel to Reel Tape Recorder. Since then it has been kept in a cupboard behind closed doors, as part of a hi-fi system. It has only been rarely used and is therefore in very good condition. The case is virtually unmarked, please see photographs. The original receipt, guarantee from AKAI and the user manual will be included in the sale, together with a couple of empty magnetic tape spools as well as the AKAI metal spool. I used the reel to reel this afternoon playing Phil Collins and very nearly decided to keep it! However, we are trying to downsize and sadly it has to go, hopefully to an enthusiast who can enjoy it. The reel to reel is heavy so I will be looking for collection from my home. I live 10 miles North of the centre of Birmingham, not far from the M6/M5/M42 in Sutton Coldfield.
